Business and common working practice (MUBI) Task 1

In week 1.1 we were given a task to create a campaign for one of either two organisations in a group and then create a presentation on it, the organisations we were told to the research were the movie company MUBI or The National Autistic Society.

My groups challenge for the campaign was to get people to want to use MUBI to watch great films and it was also a way to raise awareness to the public about what MUBI is since it’s not as big as Netflix or other companies such as Amazon Prime, before we started creating a campaign about MUBI we had to find out more about it as our group hadn’t heard of it before. The only way we were going to find more about was by visiting MUBI’s website.

While researching MUBI’s website we noticed that most movies that were on there were catered more towards an older audience due to the fact that there were very little movies on their website whose target audience were children. This meant that when we were creating our campaign we were trying to target adults. Though we were targeting adults we weren’t only targeting Adults who are movie lovers but also people who are interested in art, music, design and architecture.

Our main idea was to create an advert which showed off what MUBI had to offer to its customers by showing off how we were able to provide great quality movies for cheaper prices than other services with the same goal of providing free movies for monthly/yearly subscriptions.
